The thought struck Galdrohk like a bolt of lightning. He came to Mallar for little more than a direction to travel. Sure, he was imensly greatful to have found two traveling companions but if neither of them could come up with a direction he was clueless. "Well, I don't know where to start either... I'm afraid to say it but I do have an idea." he said. "I think the best, maybe the only way we can find a group of druids is to go out and anger them, make 'em angry and they'll be sure to try and find us to strike back." he knew it was a rather straightforward plan but it was the only one he had.

Nyriel nodded. "Sounds reasonable. However, druids usually mind their own buisness. They are secretive folk, and from what I know, they generally work alone, or if they do work with someone else ,it is not another druid, or shaman. Whichever. Athena, your a magic user, what do you have to say?" Athena opened her eyes and stared intently at Nyriel.
"Your highness, I am a mage, not a shaman. I know little about their habits and affairs. However, I am fairly certain that if we were to visit a... murky place or village, we may find one there." Nyriel nodded, but inwardly berated herself. How foolish to think that Athena would know everything about shamans and druids just because she was a mage.
"Right, then we shall do what you suggest, Athena. We ride North." Okay Nalura, lets fly. But make sure you keep in sight of Galdroh and Athena.[/] Nalura roared, then leapt into the sky, driving her wings down furiously to gain alltitude. Below, Athena had finished her spell and was now mounted on her roan stallion and travelling at a gallop.

Galdrohk nodded, murky dark places seemed right for the fiends. He jumped on Raish and started off at a gallop after Athena. Nyriel and Nalura was flying slightly ahead, little more than a gold speck in the sky. He rode up to Athena's side. "Not to sound ignorant or nosy at all but, what exactly is it that mages do?" he asked.

Raising her voice over the thunder of the horses hoofs, Athena answered, "mages are wielders of anima magic. Anima meaning... earthy magic. We can control fire, wind, water, earth. The four major elements. But it is only through vigourous studying of the books that mages can control these elements, for we must speak the right words to create the magic." Athena then made a bold statment, "You probably wouldn't be a good mage. Or shaman, or monk. I believe you are much too active to sit down and read books." Shrugging, Athena added, "my lord." Assuming Galdrohk didn't know much of Mallar, Athena gave a quick review. "Mallar doesn't house many dark places, if any. The forest werrick would probably be the closest to murky in our country. Your country, Rolidin, though, has one such city. Zoril. I believe it is there Nyriel heads. Don't worry, she will hide Nalura. We won't draw attention to ourselves."

Galdrohk had never thought much of being a mage. It was always interesting stuff what they could do but he was always consumed with the pursuit of justice. He sensed truth and wisdom behind Athena's judgment of him. "Indeed there are murky places in Rolidin, more so lately than ever." he said. "They aren't pleasant places but there are those who would see them destroyed as well."

Athena glanced at Galdrohk from the corner of her eye. "I do not fear for Rolidin Prince Galdrohk. As long as you are alive, then so shall the light in Rolidin flicker. Hopefully, we can turn the flicker into a blaze." Phoenix covered ground quickly, and soon his powerful leg muscles were drenched in sweat and his mouth covered in foam. "Woah!" Athena shouted, slowing the roan to a stop. Filled with adrenaline, Phoenix tossed his head and pranced where he stood. Throwing a hand into the air, towards Nalura, Athena whipsered, and a flash of fire erupted before the golden dragon. Soon, Nalura was resting on the ground before her. "Sorry for the abrupt halt, my lady, but my horse needs to rest and have a drink." Nyriel, who was flushed in the face, nodded curtly. Apparently, Athena had startled the princess. Sliding off Phoenix, Athena guided him towards a small stream, the whole reason she had stopped so suddenly. Phoenix eagerly began drinking. The earth shuddered as Nalura stepped to the side of the water to take two long draughts. Phoenix was used to the presence of dragons, and so remained unphased by Nalura's close proximity.

Raish kicked at the ground as Galdrohk tied him to a tree near the same stream. Raish hadn't seen dragons before and in the last few days it was a real chore trying to get him acquainted. The horse eventually started to drink but it always kept a weary eye on the golden beast as if expecting it to pounce at any moment. To soothe the horses discomfort Gadlrohk reached into the saddle bag and placed on its face a thin clothe mask, made to keep flys away. Not being able to see the dragon Raish continued to drink cautiously, making sure to keep his footing on the bank. "He isn't used to the dragons yet." Galdrohk explained. "He'll learn eventually though. Just like when he was trained for combat, he's a quick learner."

Nyriel gave Galdrohk a sympathetic look. "Yes, sorry about that Galdrohk. Nalura doesn't mean to frighten your poor horse. He looks very powerful though. What is his name?" Nyriel rested her hands on the pommel of Nalura's saddle and sat slightly hunched. Now that she was out of the public eye, she could allow herself to loose the rigid straight set of her shoulders and back, and what a wonderful feeling it was to hunch. The mage had remounted her horse, and was now wating behind Galdrohk. She couldn't see Athena's face now, as it was covered in shadow by the cowl of her cloak. A myterious woman, Nyriel thought.

"Raish, I saw him born not three springs ago." Galdrohk said. "I think that after the night is through he'll start to understand that Nalura means him no harm." Galdrohk looked back of his shoulder as Nyriel had to see Athena sitting quietly on her horse. Galdrohk turned back to Raish standing obiently still, wearing his mask. Gadrlohk patted his pale white side and the horse twitched instictively. He reached up and removed the covering. Raish looked in a sour manner over towards the dragon and his gaze never strayed.

"Excellent! Look, Raish already seems to be coming to terms with Nalura. Why, he's staring her down!" Nyriel laughed, and Nalura coughed a chuckle. "Thats wonderfull." Checking the sky, Nyriel saw that it was about 3 in the afternoon. "Well, we should get going. There is a small copse of trees that will be nice to stay at for the night. We should be able to reach it by sundown. Athena, just send another fire ball up if you need me to stop again." Nodding to Galdrohk and Athena, Nyriel patted Nalura's neck, and the dragon leapt into the sky, pumping her massive wings up and down rapidly.
Athena returned the nod, then dug her heels into Phoenix's flanks and shouted, "yah!". The roan leapt into a canter, his long legs stretching out before him.

Galdrohk kept a firm hold on Raish when the dragon suddenly took off. When it was well in the air he swung his leg over the horses back and spurred him on after Athena. Nyriel could have been right about Raish, he didn't struggle too much when Nalura took off. He pushed Raish a little faster to catch up with Phoenix.

Eventually, night fell, and Nalura circled lazily back to earth. She landed a few yards away from Athena and Galdrohk. When Athena had caught up, she reigned Phoenix in and dismounted. Nyriel nodded to her and Galdrohk. "I have landed just outisde the town of Jorin. We are now in the country of Farishma. I believe we can stay in Jorin for the night, but we must not attract notice. Of course, Nalura will have to stay here. She has already agreed to it, as we both think it wise." With a smile, she loosened the leg straps of Nalura's saddle and slid down. "Excellent, lets go!" She turned around and began walking to Joren. A hand on her arm stopped her. Athena was looking at her with an apologetic look. "What is it?"
"Forgive me for being so bold, but, Might you want to wear some sort of disguise? You and Galdrohk both look, well, majestic, to put it frankly." Nyriel blushed and was grateful it was dark.
"Your right, of course, Athena. Thankyou. Well, hold a moment." Going over to Nalura, she said, mess my hair up a little, or roll me around in the dirt. Just try to make me look un-majestic. Nalura laughed.
As you wish. Flicking out her tongue, Nalura racked it through Nyirle's hair. The roughness of it caused Nyirle's lush brown locks to go half hazard and unruly. She then uncerimoniously nocked Nyriel to the ground. There you go. Nyriel laughed.
Thanks. For the finishing touch, Nyriel threw the hood of her cloak over her head, hiding her face in shadows.

Galdrohk watched and tried to hide his amusement as Nalura 'un-majestasized' Nyriel. "I have some less conspicuous clothes in my saddle bag and I'm sure there's some dirt in there too. Just give me a minute." He took Raish and gently led him into the darkening forest and changed his clothes. He rubbed some dirt over his hands and face and then led Raish back to the others. "Okay, lets go."
